Actum Health is a clinician-founded organization, focused on interdisciplinary complex care (in pain, mental health, trauma, and addiction). We are rapidly growing and continue to expand in our 4+ years of business. Actum Health has grown from a staff of six in March 2020, to 28 full time staff in the last 4.5 years. We are looking to add a new like-minded PT to our growing team.


In addition to treating injured Workers, we are also supporting Canada’s Veterans and first responders with chronic pain and/or mental health conditions. Actum Health has a leading-edge team and a state-of-the-art 7200 sq. ft new clinic in South Surrey (conveniently located off the BC-99 Highway).

Your New Role:

You are a quality-focused PT who values complex care and wants to be part of a high-functioning, interdisciplinary team of Physicians, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychiatrists, Clinical Counsellors, Kinesiologists, and Pharmacists. You will work in interdisciplinary pain, mental health, and substance use treatment programs, treating clients with complex care needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize a range of clinical skills within a biopsychosocial model of care.

At Actum our PTs are focused on empowering clients to restore physical & mental health and regain control of their lives. We are looking for a PT who is passionate about understanding the complexity of the mind-body connection and guiding patients back to the activities important to their quality of life in a safe & realistic manner.

As part of our interdisciplinary team of professionals, the Physical Therapist builds motivation & confidence
in clients, empowering them with education and offering specialized support for chronic MSK injuries,
mental health, and neurological conditions, and return-to-work.

What you will do:

  • Work with clients with chronic/persistent pain, substance use issues, and/or mental health conditionsconditions
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on interview and assessment
  • Develop and work collaboratively with the team to support and address client rehabilitation goals to support forward progress
  • Think outside the box to overcome barriers to treatment, while dedicating time to foster trust and build a therapeutic alliance with your clients
  • Ongoing assessment and monitoring of client progress and modifying interventions to achieve and/or maintain optimal physical & mental health performance/functioning
  • Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions; submitting reports to stakeholders in a timely manner

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($83,500 to $110,000/year)—exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience
