Our Team

Our Registered Psychologists and Registered Clinical Counsellors know that physical injuries don’t just affect your body. Mood, motivation, relationships, sleep patterns, and even self-esteem can be impacted. Additionally, they know that life stress can impact physical symptoms and coping abilities. Our Mental Health Team goes beyond knowing the injury or trauma itself – they get to know you to create an individualized treatment program for your mind, body, emotions, and spirit and they work collaboratively with your other team members to address your treatment needs.

OTs are passionate about function – from basic self-care to household activities, recreation, work, cognition, and psychological functioning – our OTs love it all. They will break down what you want to achieve into realistic goals and will provide you with the tools to meet each goal. OTs are known as the clinicians that bring it all together into results that are meaningful to your life; they help re-connect you to meaningful occupation (anything that occupies your time!) by addressing both your physical and mental health needs.

Our physician team has expertise in chronic pain, mental health and addiction care. They, in collaboration with the team, are invested in your rehabilitation journey and will provide support to you throughout your time with Actum. They will explore and address your clinical needs, ensuring that you have a sound understanding of your condition, rehabilitation, and recovery path. Our Physicians will collaborate with your family physician and any specialists involved in your care to ensure seamless services to you during and after our program.

Our Administrative and Technical team keep the heart of Actum pumping. They will welcome you on site and are always available to make your time with us as smooth and as stress free as possible.
